As standard, the shock absorber of the Harley Davidson Fat Boy 114 FLFBS is fitted with a spring that is too stiff and wound progressively. This causes the second, significantly harder spring rate to be reached too early.

With our Wilbers Adjustline shock, we use a linear spring rate and a precisely tuned damping setup. This achieves a noticeably higher level of riding comfort and more stable handling. The negative spring travel has also been optimized, as the standard suspension provides too little of it. The Wilbers conversion offers a significantly wider adjustment range compared to the original equipment.

In the Wilbers suspension conversion, fork response is further improved by replacing the linear fork springs with separately available progressive fork springs. The second spring rate also provides greater reserve and comfort.

Das Wilbers Adjustline
The basic edition of the Wilbers Adjustline mono shock absorber features the same technology as the more complex versions. The difference is that it omits the compression reservoir and, therefore, the option to adjust high- and low-speed compression. Nevertheless, this shock absorber makes no compromises in response behavior or durability. The radial piston design, wet-run operation, and Teflon-guided self-aligning bearings redefine the standard of quality for a mono shock. As usual, the spring preload can be continuously adjusted, and the rebound damping can be fine-tuned via an open-bleed system in 22 clicks. The shock absorber can also be retrofitted with numerous Wilbers accessories.
