Shock Absorber Type 640 Road
The basic edition of the Wilbers Adjustline mono shock absorber features the same advanced technology as the more complex versions. The only difference is the omission of the compression reservoir, and therefore the ability to adjust high- and low-speed compression.
Despite this, the shock absorber makes no compromises in terms of response behavior or durability. Its radial piston design, wet-run operation, and Teflon-guided self-aligning bearings redefine the quality standard for a mono shock.
As usual, the spring preload is continuously adjustable, and rebound damping can be set via an open-bleed system in 22 clicks. The shock absorber can also be retrofitted with a variety of Wilbers accessories.

Great Product! I've had the Wilbes Nivomat Suspension installed on my two bikes.
Installed and immediately had a more solid ride. (Got the front springs too, but didn’t have time to install yet … ) Just returned from a 1,000 round trip to the NC mountains with 95 +/- lbs of gear. Adjusted the preload just a hair and it was AWESOME! Cant say enough great things. Great product!

This kit effectively lowered a 2011 BMW R1200GS. This in combination with a low seat that was already on the bike when purchased has transformed this into a much more enjoyable ride. The bike handles much better now as well as allowing me to be comfortably be flat-footed when stopped or maneuvering the bike around the garage. Springs arrived sooner than excepted.
I'm a shorter rider (5'4") and have sent OEM rear shocks for two different bikes to EPM for modification to lower the bikes for better reach. Although different people warned me not to lower my bikes, I'm glad I trusted my gut and did what was best for ME! EPM helped me out and allowed me to ride and handle my bikes with more ease and confidence! No more drops due to the bikes being too tall (and me too short)! Service has been great and very helpful!
