BMW G 310 R — 40 mm lowering kit (Type 640 shock).
Seat height reduced from 790 mm to approx. 750 mm with a complete, matched setup for confident ergonomics.
Includes:
– Type 640 shock
– Zero Friction fork springs with reduction bushings
– Fork oil
Options: hydraulic preload adjuster (Type 625) or mechanical X-PA adjuster. Fork shortening can be carried out by a BMW workshop, a Wilbers dealer, or at our Nordhorn facility. 5-year manufacturer’s warranty. ABE in preparation.

I tried two after market rear shocks on my‘23 Road Glide and wasn’t pleased at all with either set. My wife gave me an evil eye when I-told her I had ordered another set (3rd set) of shocks. About an hour into our first ride on the Wilbers she acknowledged the Wilbers were a huge improvement.
The shocks are very easy to install and make the ride as smooth as can be.

Can’t rave enough about the set-up! Two weeks after installation, I went on a 9 day ride from Staten Island NY to Key West FL and back, with various stops in between.
