Shock Absorber Type 633 TS Competition
From the factory, the Can-Am Ryker Rally 900 is tuned far too soft. This makes the vehicle feel very “spongy” and causes it to wobble noticeably in corners. This reduces stability and overall riding enjoyment.
With the Wilbers suspension solution, the spring rate is made significantly firmer and the damping of the shock absorbers is carefully adjusted. For the front shocks, two different settings are available — a Comfort or Standard setup, and a Sporty setup. The rear shock absorber is, of course, customized to the rider’s profile.
The suspension geometry on both the front and rear axles is optimized via the negative spring travel. In the standard configuration, the vehicle has too much negative travel, so this is corrected. The result is slightly shorter suspension struts at the front and rear, while maintaining the original seat height.
With a pivoting compression tank, the Wilbers Type 633 TS twin shock absorbers offer outstanding flexibility. The compression reservoirs can rotate up to 360°, allowing installation on nearly any motorcycle with dual shocks. As always, the shocks are custom-made and fully serviceable, enabling repairs or modifications even after many years. They are completely adjustable in compression, rebound, and spring preload, providing optimal function, handling, and individuality.
