Shock Absorber Type 632 TS Competition
From the factory, the springs of the Triumph Speed Twin DD04 shock absorber have a poor block value, meaning the second spring rate engages too quickly and ride comfort is lost. We also use progressive springs, but ours provide greater comfort thanks to redesigned fork springs with an improved block value — the second, harder spring rate is reached later.
In addition, rebound and compression damping have been optimized for smoother performance and better control.
Our suspension conversion achieves a much better fork response by replacing the linear fork springs with progressive ones. The second spring rate also provides a greater reserve.
The suspension geometry on both the front and rear axles has been optimized through adjustments to the negative spring deflections.
After a facelift, our Type 632 shock absorber now carries its compression tank on a high-quality milled aluminum bracket. The new “blow-off” compression valve combines high- and low-speed circuits, making the shock absorber more compact and even more versatile. With a setup range of 22 clicks, adjustment is both easy and precise — whether you prefer a sporty or comfortable ride. Continuously adjustable spring preload and 22-click rebound damping remain standard. In addition, radial piston technology and wet-run guidance ensure a highly sensitive response and maximum longevity.
