Small Package Big Performance: YSS MX302 External Reservoir Mono Shock
The defining upgrade of the MX302 is its external Bladder reservoir. By utilizing an internal bladder system to keep the high-pressure nitrogen gas separated from the hydraulic oil, the MX302 offers vastly superior oil volume and cooling. This completely prevents performance-robbing oil cavitation (foaming) and heat fade, ensuring your suspension feels incredibly consistent, plush, and controlled from your first lap to your last.
Why Upgrade to the YSS MX302 Monoshock?
- Dedicated Compression Tuning: Features of precise compression adjustability. This allows you to stiffen or soften how the shock responds to initial impacts, keeping the chassis perfectly composed under hard acceleration and load shifts.
- Tactile Rebound Adjustability: Includes a user-friendly, rebound knob to regulate how quickly the suspension returns after a bump. This keeps your rear tire planted firmly against the asphalt, eliminating mid-corner wallowing or bouncy "pogo" effects.
- Rigid 12mm Shaft: While keeping a compact 30mm piston body, the MX302 is built with an oversized 12mm hardened spindle shaft. This design delivers maximum structural rigidity and completely resists flexing under severe cornering and braking forces.

Again, a huge improvement over the stock shocks that came on the RE INT650. Thus far I have am riding at the factory presets for these shocks and have not had a reason to make adjustments.
