Unlike standard emulsion shocks where gas and oil mix, the MA456 uses an internal floating piston to keep the high-pressure nitrogen gas entirely separate from the damping oil. Combined with a massive 45mm big-body piston and a 16mm shaft, this configuration delivers ultra-consistent, fade-free damping, incredible rear-tire grip, and superb comfort even under heavy passenger or luggage loads.
