I've finally had enough decent weather in NE Ohio to put on about 350 miles since installing my Nivomat's. I've ridden all kinds of roads solo and 2-up, including some of the worst pot-holed, uneven train-tracked, 3rd world resembling that I could find.
I can't say enough good things about this system. I would say "believe the hype", but it's not hype at all. Everything you read and hear is straight-up fact. The first time I went over the set of train tracks that have always been particularly teeth rattling - even after my previous upgrade from stock to another highly-regarded manufacturer - I literally giggled out loud to myself.
As pleased as I was, the Nivomats still needed to pass the ultimate test: The Wife. My wife, as I like to say, is shall we say...."Gluteally Challenged." No exaggeration, if she backed up to a wall, I'd need feeler gauges to find the gaps.
She has complained through 3 seats, the stock suspension, and a set of highly rated aftermarket shocks. She still had issues, and claimed her tailbone felt bruised after more than 50 miles in the saddle. This on a 2016 Road Glide Ultra - designed to eat miles.
She is absolutely thrilled with the ride improvement with the Nivomats! I no longer felt her tense up in anticipation of bumps in the road after her first 25 or so miles, as she gained confidence in the ride.
To sum it up: if you want the absolute best ride you'll ever feel on a motorcycle, make the investment. It may seem significant when compared to other brands available - but it's the best value upgrade for your dollar out there if you prioritize comfort. Oh - they handle great on the twisties too!
