Achieve the next level of performance on your Aprilia Tuareg 660 (2022-) with the Öhlins STX46 Adventure shock absorber.
This monotube, gas-pressurized rear shock is equipped with a piggyback reservoir for optimal pressure balance and temperature under extreme conditions.With adjustable compression and rebound damping, you can fine-tune the behavior of the shock to match your riding preferences. This version of the shock comes with a hose-mounted hydraulic preload adjuster, allowing you to make adjustments for weight changes without using a tool.

Combo Kit for 2025 NC750X DCT completely changed the bike. At 245 pounds the stock set up just wasn’t right. Pre-load set at 5 out of 7 and the sag is perfect. Speed bumps don’t hurt anymore. Brake dive has been greatly reduced. Best bang for the buck one could ever hope to find. Highly recommend this upgrade.

The process was easy, the price was fair, and the bike rides like new with a rebuilt shock. ESA still works and there are still no leaks a month in.
As promised, fit BMWF800ST Perfectly. If your budget allows I would advise upgrading to fully remote adjustment. On my BMW it is impossible to adjust shock W/O moving under seat fuel tank.

My weight with clothes, helmet, boots, and backpack is 205 lbs. With the stock fork springs my race sag was 6.8”. The front end would break loose every ride in dirt/gravel, I’m talking scary not cool. With the stock shock spring my race sag was 7”and the rear would bottom out frequently. With the fork spring kit installed my race sag is now 2.0 “. The front end feels planted now and I am using much lower settings for rebound and compression. With the new shock spring, my race sag is now 2.4”with preload set a 7. The rear hasn’t bottomed out yet, I don’t catch big air so YMMV. Installation instructions were great and the kit was an easy install. My bike is a 2025 KTM 390 Enduro R. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone with that bike. It makes the bike fun instead of scary and annoying.
